Trigeneration

In trigeneration plants, thanks to the integration of absorption refrigerators, the heat can also be used to produce chilled water at various temperatures for industrial processes and for the air-conditioning of buildings in the summer.

Absorbers are adopted with different technologies according to the desired temperatures. These particular refrigerators are the alternative to traditional chillers that use electricity instead.

The trigeneration plants therefore make it possible to produce electricity, heat and chilled water at maximum efficiency.

Fluid cooled down to 7°C – Lithium Bromide Absorbers

These temperatures can be achieved with ammonia absorption systems, which use the heat generated to cool engines or exhaust fumes.

Fluid cooled down to -35°C – Ammonia absorbers

These temperatures can be achieved with ammonia absorption systems, which use the heat generated to cool engines or exhaust fumes.
